Do you ever feel that way? Maybe you don’t ever feel that way. God, that must be nice.

You know, there’s that whole ‘what would you do if you were rich?’ question that drives finding your occupation? I’ve always sided with loving solving interesting computer problems because it is a great challenge and a ever changing field. Also, I get paid well for it. You know what though? I realized that contrary to the past, if right now I was rich and didn’t have to work anymore, that only a fraction of my time would be dedicated to computer work, and that would be mostly open source projects with some actual operations work to keep it real. This weekend I gave an interview about collectives, lead a cropmob, worked on our urban farm, designed and began building a chicken coop with my mother, worked on bicycles, and did a bunch of communicating about bicycle advocacy. And, much more. I assure you that I also ate, and had a other good times as well.
